LMC, a Lennar company that focuses on building rental properties, recently began constructing the Lumen at Tysons, a mixed-use high-rise apartment adjacent to the Greensboro Metro station in Tysons Corner. In addition to the apartments, the development will have more than 11,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

The 32-story building, expected to be complete in the fall of 2018, will have 398 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with 500 to 1,600 square feet. The apartments, 80 of which will be affordable housing and 318 market rate, are expected to feature high-end appliances and design features. Faulkner Design will design the interior, and Land Design will do the landscaping.
