Chris Licht parents: Susan Licht and Dr. Peter Licht

Chris Licht is an American television newsman and producer who was born in October 1971 (age 50 years), in Newtown, Connecticut, United States.

He is a family man who has been married for more than a decade and is blessed with two kids – two boys.

He got married to his beautiful wife,  Jenny Blanco – an Executive television producer who worked at CNN in 2006. 

The couple lives together in Manhattan with their two sons.

Chris Licht is best known for having launched Morning Joe on MSNBC and the reboot of CBS This Morning.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political science. He graduated in 1993 from  S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
